When used as a solid lubricant or its additive, the fluorocarbon material produced by ZSEM has a high load-bearing capacity. When used in high-load equipment, they exhibit the characteristics of physical thermal stability, chemical thermal stability and aging stability, low friction coefficient and low power loss, and small rise in temperature.

Autodesk recognized by Forbes as a Best Employer for Diversity 2023
Since I joined Autodesk as senior director of global diversity, belonging, and inclusion just over a year ago, it's been nothing short of incredible. As I look back on the strides we've made during this brief yet impactful period, I find myself more motivated than ever to keep pushing forward toward creating a vibrant, open, and engaged workplace culture.
Recently, we had some fantastic moments that really highlight how far we've come. One of the highlights was being recognized by Forbes in its Best Employers for Diversity 2023 list! We were ranked 22nd out of 500 companies and came in first in the software & services category. It’s such an honor to be acknowledged globally for our efforts, especially because it shows that our commitment to diversity isn’t just lip service—it’s a core part of who we are.
Forbes evaluates companies based on surveys conducted independently with market research firm Statista. They focus on organizations actively prioritizing diversity across all levels—employees, executives, board members, and throughout company initiatives. To make it onto their list is no small feat, but to rank so highly feels like validation of our mission.
We’re not just about ticking boxes though. At Autodesk, fostering belonging means ensuring every employee has equal chances to shine and contribute. Our goal is simple yet ambitious: to bring together diverse perspectives and talents to craft groundbreaking solutions for our equally varied customer base. It’s more than just providing jobs; we want people to grow, thrive, and feel valued.
One of the newer initiatives I’m particularly excited about is Flex Forward. This initiative reimagines our approach to hybrid work, emphasizing inclusivity and allowing us to attract and retain top talent from anywhere in the world. By focusing on productivity, connection, and belonging, we’re setting a standard others can follow.
Another project close to my heart is the Autodesk Technology Engagement Center at California State University, Northridge (CSUN). Thanks to a generous $5 million donation from Autodesk, this center will feature cutting-edge labs and an HSI Equity Innovation Hub aimed at promoting educational equity and fostering a more inclusive workforce.
Our partnership with Howard University also continues to flourish. Recently, we donated another $1 million to enhance their manufacturing and making facilities for students. This builds upon our previous contributions and supports future generations of talented Black engineers.
Speaking of partnerships, our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) play a crucial role in driving change. Over the last year, we’ve seen a 40% rise in membership, held our inaugural ERG leadership summit, celebrated various heritage months with engaging events, and expanded our ERG program to include two new networks—the Indigenous Network and the MIND Network.
Looking ahead, there’s still much to accomplish. These achievements serve as reminders of what’s possible when everyone works together toward common goals. Each milestone is a testament to the hard work and dedication of countless Autodesk employees who believe in making a difference.
